SoCal Book Scene Exclusive (Mini) Interview:
SCBS: What did you do before you “officially” became an author?
SB: Before becoming a novelist, I was a journalist (back in the days when the media did news).
SCBS: How do you spend your weekends?
SB: On weekends, I play with my punk band. Or play punk guitar by myself (my neighbors are kind people). And write, write, write...
SCBS: What’s your favorite restaurant in Southern California?
SB: (1) Orochon Ramen (cause noodles are spiritual!); and (2) Any halfway decent Indian place (cause I can eat Indian food everyday).
